The complete electric drive system comprises: diesel generator sets (2 sets), power batteries (including high-voltage boxes), DC-DC converters, rectifiers, inverters, traction motors and wheel-end gearboxes (2 sets), braking resistor boxes, and cooling fans.

The diesel generator set serves as the primary power source for the system, while the battery box functions as an auxiliary power source. During high-power traction operations, the batteries supplement the electrical power required by the system, and during braking, they recover energy.
